Acerca de mí
Hello! I’m Roxani, an award-winning composer, pianist and music educator with over 12 years of teaching experience.
My musical background combines piano performance, music education, composition and film scoring. I hold a Piano Diploma with Distinction and Second Prize, a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, and two Master’s degrees in Music Composition from Royal Holloway, University of London, and Film Music Composition from Ionian University.
I believe that learning music should be both inspiring and rewarding. My teaching approach is personalised, supportive and creative, helping each student develop their skills, confidence and individual musical voice. Whether you are taking your first steps at the piano, preparing for advanced studies, or exploring your own ideas as a composer, I adapt each lesson to your level, interests and goals.
What I teach:
Piano technique, repertoire, sight-reading and musical interpretation
Music theory, harmony, counterpoint and ear training
Music composition, orchestration and musical analysis
Film scoring, composing for visual media and musical storytelling
Alongside teaching, I maintain an active career as a composer and pianist, with more than 70 works for chamber ensembles, orchestra, film, theatre and interdisciplinary projects. My album Entre Ruidos (Between Noises) received a Gold Award at the World Classical Music Awards, and my compositions have received international competition awards.
I enjoy working with children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced students. My aim is to make every lesson engaging and meaningful, combining solid musical foundations with curiosity, creativity and practical work.
I teach in English and Greek, and offer online lessons to students wherever they are based.
Whether your goal is to learn piano, strengthen your musical knowledge or discover the joy of composing, I would be delighted to help you on your musical journey!
