The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. This class is for beginner-intermediate-advanced musicians who aim to explore more about music and get better at their playing on their instrument. This doesn't refer only to professional but includes amateur and passionated students interested about how to gain more music knowledge. Music is one. there's no differences between its styles. Hello, I am Clément, a passionate musician and current student at EPFL. My musical journey began at the age of 5. For nearly 15 years, I trained at the Avignon Conservatory, working alongside several orchestras and performing numerous solo performances across France. I also hold a degree in musical studies. I have currently trained more than 10 trumpet students. My goal is to help you build a solid foundation so that you can fully enjoy music. I am open to all styles of music. I adjust my teaching approach with each student to promote their learning. The trumpet is a demanding instrument but it also offers an escape and an incredible joy which is (in all objectivity ;) ) comparable with any other instrument. Depending on your needs, an introduction to music theory can be added to the course. Whether you are a novice or already have some basics, this trumpet course is open to all levels.
