Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. Profesor titulado en el Conservatorio Superior de Música José Angel Lamas y en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes (UNEARTE) ambas en la mención de Ejecución Instrumental "Guitarra Clásica" en Venezuela. Además cuento con amplia experiencia laboral de más de 20 años en la enseñanza profesional tanto en la ejecución instrumental como en diferentes materias complementarias, a saber: Lenguaje Musical, Armonía e Historia de la Música, en todos sus niveles. Actualmente estoy cursando el Grado en Musicología en la Universidad Internacional de Valencia, ESPAÑA. Dentro de mi formación como ejecutante cuento con la enseñanza de grandes maestros venezolanos, concertistas de amplia trayectoria internacional como el maestro Luis Quintero Santamaría y el maestro Leopoldo Igarza discípulo de Regino Sainz de la Maza y graduado en el Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid, España, con el que culminé mis estudios de conservatorio. A su vez, he participado en diversas clases magistrales, talleres etc, con importantes personalidades de la música como el maestro Rodrigo Riera, Alirio Díaz, Leo Brower, Luis Zea entre otros, así como la participación en el renombrado festival Internacional de guitarra organizado durante muchos años por empresas Polar en Venezuela y recitales en diversas salas del país. Actualmente soy profesor titular de la cátedra de Guitarra Clásica en el Conservatorio Nacional de Música Juan Manuel Olivares y coordinador de la cátedra de Lenguaje Musical en la misma institución. Dentro del espectro en la enseñanza de la guitarra, abarco diferentes estilos musicales (Pop, Rock, Popular, Académico etc) adecuando la formación según las capacidades e intereses particulares de cada alumno(a) sin distinción de edades, gustos y tendencias. La metodología se centra en sesiones de 60 minutos donde abordamos un programa diseñado de manera individual y específico para cada estudiante, el cual contiene una parte de desarrollo técnico indispensable para la creación de facultades y competencias necesarias en la ejecución correcta, y otra dedicada al repertorio que el alumno(a) quiera desarrollar según su gusto particular. Además cada sesión tendrá un soporte audiovisual, editado y ordenado, donde el alumno(a) tendrá la oportunidad de visualizar en cualquier momento que así lo desee, lo abordado en clase. Y adicionalmente un canal directo de comunicación con el tutor donde entre sesiones el alumno podrá plantear dificultades, problemas y demás planteamientos específicos que necesite solucionar. I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process.
